The new set of concave radius and profiled cutters, designed by Lonnie Bird, will allow you to make elegant moldings with the simple use of a table saw or your electric router table. Unlike other milling cutters of this type commonly found on the market, this new set differs in ease of installation and excellent end results.
It is the ideal set for making shaped finishes on high quality furniture and chests. It consists of a convex radius dado and six cutters (3 concave radius cutters and 3 profiled cutters) with bearings. The nut is mounted on your table saw and used in conjunction with a pair of angle guides. By simply varying the angle of the guide and the height of the dado, you can create an almost infinite number of moldings of any size and, above all, have an excellently polished surface.
Once you've made your creation, you can add further finishing touches by simply using the concave radius cutters included in the set.
