The difficulty generally encountered in producing 22.5° angles is now a memory thanks to this new set from CMT. The use of these two jointing cutters will allow you to produce octagonal shaped containers and boxes as well as corner cabinets, corner kitchen cabinets, islands or carts. This 22.5° set ensures very tight joints to join wooden parts at a 45° angle so you can avoid the often difficult use of cookies and wooden battens. Height adjustment is also simplified; simply adjust the guide so that the outer edge of the workpiece meets the outer edge of the cutter. Once you've made your joints, you can glue them together or simply tape them in place.
