Lock cutters allow you to apply wooden frames, plates or decorations perfectly flush with the walls. First, the tool makes the entry hole. As the pantograph advances, the smaller diameter cuts a 4.8mm wide slot, and the larger diameter mills a larger slot below the surface. This operation creates a support for screw or rivet heads.
Safety Recommendations: before using lock cutters, secure the workpiece to the bench and carefully attach the cutter to the router.
Tips: to hang objects with only one hook, mill a horizontal slot; this will allow you to center and balance them perfectly on the wall.
