1) Clamp or screw the supporting structure to the workpiece.

2) Insert the template inside the supporting structure

4) Flip the template inside the supporting structure and mill again. Some templates require 2 to 4 passes, depending on the complexity of the project.

5) Remove the retaining structure and you're done!

Creating wood carvings requires an artist's touch. With the patented 3D carving system anyone can create imaginative figures and designs in minutes. The secret is in the 3D carving cutter and the various templates available. The V-cut router is inserted into a 45° conical guide. Mill with the depth adjustment unlocked allowing the cutter to move up and down as it feeds. As the template groove widens, the cutter moves deeper, producing deeper "V" notches; when it narrows, the cutter moves up and the notch produced is shallower. Very easy! (That's why the system is patented worldwide). To get started you will need:

-The 3D carving bit;

-The carving template of your choice;

-The frame needed to insert your templates (listed in the instructions with the template);

-Your router.

(Please Note: make sure that the opening in the base of your milling machine is at least 47.6mm in diameter. If not, you will need to create an additional base to support the diameter of the 3D cutter).
