Perfectly mortised hinges are the hallmark of the good craftsman who provides high standards of workmanship. CMT has created a selection of high-level mortising cutters. These cutters, equipped with two precise tungsten carbide cutting edges, are designed to achieve perfect edges and a flat, smooth base. The negative axial angle cutting edges create a cut without tears or imperfections. You'll be able to make clean mortise cuts for hinges, various components, or non-skid steps. They work well on natural wood or composites and are compatible with any electric milling machine or pantograph.
