Perfectly matched CMT sets (two perfectly matched tools, not simply problematic and approximate reversible cutters), make this type of joint in any type of hard or soft wood and with the accuracy and speed you need. Helpful hints: When making this type of joint, stock up on small pieces for testing. A quality door requires perfect construction, and several tests may be required.
