Step cutter kit

Each kit includes a step cutter, six guide bearings, a screw, and a wrench. To change the depth of cut you simply mount a different bearing; by varying the height of the pantograph, the length of cut changes from 0 to 12.7mm or 0 to 19mm. Use the guide for positioning the intermediate cutting depths.
Tips: with a step router, it is not necessary to rebate before assembling the backs of cabinets and bottoms of drawers. Proceed to assembly, then quickly mill a 12.7mm deep step, which allows you to immediately assemble the missed panel. If you already own a CMT step router, you can turn it into the kit described above by purchasing only the six bearings, screw and wrench (part number 791.703.00).
